Forecast alert regarding backbone network optical fiber cutover of Qingdao Telecom

Dear Alibaba Cloud Users,

As Qingdao Telecom will be conducting a backbone network optical fiber cutover of Qingdao Telecom from 12:00 to 18:00 on Nov 16, 2016 (UTC+8:00), it may cause serious congestion and package loss during this period when users access the Qingdao Region. In order to reduce the impact during this time, Alibaba Cloud will complete a redundancy switch of telecommunication lines for China North 1 region (Qingdao Region) before 7:00am on Nov. 16, 2016 (UTC+8:00). After completing a redundancy switch, the latency of accessing to China North 1 region (Qingdao Region) through China telecommunications lines will be increased. Please note the above risk and consider cross-region disaster preparation in advance.
